About Travel Agent University

Travel Agent University is a service of Travel Agent Custom Solutions, a division of Travel Agent Magazine / Questex Media Group. The site is designed to help travel professionals "learn and earn" at their convenience, through a combination of on-line courses, booking rewards and other informational and relationship-building programs.

Travel Agent University programs are free for all accredited travel agents, working for a travel agency recognized by IATA, ARC or CLIA. However, individual travel suppliers may require a fee for participation in their courses.

Registration in Travel Agent University is mandatory, to allow TAU to deliver diplomas and other benefits and to communicate with travel agents about the site and its programs.

Travel agents may now register using a "DBA" (Doing Business As) to identify a home-based or affiliate agency that operates at a location that is different from the host agency (the actual ARC/IATA/CLIA agency of record).
